How much CBD does the FSA advise?

The Food Standards Agency advises healthy adults to take no more than 10mg of CBD a day as a precaution, and advises against CBD for anyone under 18, people who are pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive, people taking medication and people who are immunosuppressed, unless under medical direction.

How to read a CBD lab report

A lab report, or certificate of analysis, is the single best way to judge a CBD product. You only need to check a few things:

Batch number: it should match the number on your bottle or tub.
CBD content: it should be close to what the label says.
THC: it should be “not detected” or below the lab’s limit of detection.
The lab: it should be an independent laboratory, not the seller.
Contaminants: tests for heavy metals and pesticides are a sign of a careful supplier.
