What is ‘Full Spectrum’ CBD Oil?

Also known as ‘whole plant’, full-spectrum means that the entire hemp plant is used as the ingredients for our CBD oils. As a result, the whole spectrum of beneficial cannabinoids and terpenes are found in Dr. Hemp Me’s oils.

Our CBD Oil contains primarily CBD cannabinoids plus the following cannabinoids:

CBC | CBDa | CBDV | CBG | CBN | Terpenoids | Less than 0.2% THC

We call it ‘CBD Oil’ because Cannabidiol is the most prominent cannabinoid, but as you can see, our full-spectrum hemp CBD oil contains all the beneficial compounds found in the Cannabis Sativa L hemp plant.

The popularity of full-spectrum products comes down to the ‘Entourage Effect’. This term refers to all cannabinoids from hemp working in synergy together to create the ultimate CBD oil experience.

What is the CO2 Extraction Process and Why is it so Important?

Although there are several methods by which CBD can be extracted from the hemp plant, the CO2 process is one of the most popular, primarily because it is so efficient, safe and produces superior results.

Hemp plant material is filtered in low-temperature and high-pressure chambers filled with carbon dioxide. As the temperature drops and the pressure increases, the CO2 moves from a gaseous state to a liquid one, and this liquified CO2 isolates the hemp plant’s natural cannabinoids at 90% efficiency.

This process is effective, safe, and clean, and it does not require the use of harsh or possibly dangerous chemicals.

What About THC? Will It Get Me High?

Because it is made from the cannabis plant, yes, Dr. Hemp Me CBD Oil DOES contain THC, in trace amounts. However, because the amount of THC in our products is less than 0.2%, they are entirely legal in Ireland. This level of THC also cannot possibly produce a ‘high’.
