Whether you run a pharmacy, health food shop, gym, salon or online store, CBD is one of the most asked-about wellness categories in Ireland. Dr. Hemp Me supplies retailers with our own lab-tested CBD range, and works with businesses that want to launch CBD under their own brand. This page explains how wholesale and white label work, the rules you need to know, and how to get in touch.

The short answer

  • Wholesale: stock Dr. Hemp Me CBD oils, gummies, capsules, creams and pet oils in your business.
  • White label: sell CBD products under your own brand.
  • Compliance first: CBD products in Ireland must contain no THC, follow novel food and labelling rules and make no medical claims.
  • To enquire, email info@drhempme.com with details of your business.

Why work with Dr. Hemp Me?

  • An Irish company, based in Dublin and selling CBD since 2018.
  • A known consumer brand, with more than 15,000 customers and 900+ reviews on Trustpilot.
  • Lab-tested products: every batch is independently tested for cannabinoids, including THC, heavy metals and pesticides.
  • A practical range: CBD oils at 10%, 20% and 30%, gummies, capsules, creams and pet oils.
  • Plain-English support on the rules, so you and your staff can answer customer questions properly.

Option 1: wholesale (stock our brand)

Wholesale is the quickest way to add CBD to your shelves. You stock Dr. Hemp Me products, with our packaging and lab reports, and sell them to your customers. It suits pharmacies, health food shops, gyms, physiotherapy and wellness clinics, beauty salons and online retailers who want an established brand without the work of creating one.

CBD capsules30 x 25mgNo taste
CBD creamMuscle & Joint, 1000mg CBD + 500mg CBGFor use on the skin
Pet CBD oils5%, 10% and 20%Chosen by pet weight

Option 2: white label (your own brand)

White label means selling CBD products under your own brand name, with your own packaging and marketing. It suits businesses with an established customer base or brand, such as gyms, clinics, influencers and online wellness stores, that want a product line of their own.

A white label project usually involves agreeing the products and strengths, your branding and label design, the compliance checks on your labels and marketing, batch testing, and lead times. Every brand is different, so we discuss each project individually.

The rules every CBD retailer in Ireland should know

  • THC: food products containing THC at any level are treated as controlled drugs in Ireland. Only stock products with lab reports showing no detectable THC.
  • Novel food: CBD foods fall under the EU Novel Food Regulation. No CBD food has yet completed EU authorisation, and the FSAI oversees food businesses selling CBD.
  • No medical claims: CBD cannot be sold with claims to treat, cure or prevent any disease, on the label, in store or online. This includes social media and staff recommendations.
  • Labelling: food supplement labels must meet Irish and EU rules, including the name and address of the responsible business, directions for use and warnings.
  • Cosmetics: CBD creams fall under the EU Cosmetics Regulation, with its own requirements.
  • Flower and HHC: CBD flower and products such as HHC are not legal CBD products. HHC was made a controlled drug in Ireland in July 2025.

Our guide to is CBD oil legal in Ireland? explains the rules in detail. Retailers should take their own legal advice and keep up to date with the FSAI.

Is CBD a good fit for my business?

CBD tends to work well for businesses whose customers already ask about wellness: pharmacies, health food shops, gyms, sports clubs, physiotherapy and massage clinics, beauty and skincare businesses, and online stores focused on natural products. It works less well where staff cannot talk about it confidently, or where the business wants to make claims that the rules do not allow.

Before you start, think about where CBD will sit in your shop, who will answer customer questions, and how you will keep up with changes in the rules. A small, well-chosen range with good information usually sells better than a large range nobody understands.

Questions to ask any CBD supplier

  • Can I see the lab report for each batch, from an independent laboratory?
  • Does the lab report show THC as not detected?
  • Where is the hemp grown, and who is the responsible business on the label?
  • Do the labels meet Irish and EU food supplement requirements?
  • What support do you give retailers on compliance and staff training?
  • What happens if the rules change?

A good supplier will answer all of these clearly. If they cannot, think carefully before stocking their products.

Displaying CBD in store

  • Keep CBD with other food supplements, not alongside vapes or novelty products.
  • Display the lab report information, or a QR code to it, near the shelf.
  • Avoid shelf talkers or posters that make health claims.
  • Keep products out of reach of children.

Training your staff

Customers often ask shop staff for advice about CBD. Good, compliant answers build trust. Staff should be able to explain what CBD is, how to read the label and lab report, how to take it, and when to suggest speaking to a GP or pharmacist, without making health claims. We can share plain-English information to help.

Frequently asked questions

Do you supply CBD wholesale in Ireland?

Yes. We supply Dr. Hemp Me products to retailers such as pharmacies, health food shops, gyms and online stores. Email info@drhempme.com with details of your business.

Do you offer white label CBD?

Yes, we work with businesses that want to sell CBD under their own brand. Email us with what you have in mind, including product types, volumes and timelines.

CBD food supplements are widely sold, but they fall under EU novel food rules, must not contain THC, must not make medical claims and must be labelled correctly. Retailers should understand these rules and keep up to date with FSAI guidance.

What documents come with your products?

Each batch has an independent lab report (certificate of analysis) showing cannabinoid content, including THC, and tests for heavy metals and pesticides.

Can I make health claims about CBD in my shop?

No. CBD supplements cannot be sold with claims that they treat, cure or prevent any disease, and no health claims for CBD are authorised in the EU.

How are wholesale orders delivered?

Orders are shipped by courier. Delivery details are agreed when you order.

Do you sell to customers outside Ireland?

Contact us. Rules on CBD vary widely between countries, so we will discuss what is possible for your market.

What is the minimum order?

It depends on the products and whether you want our brand or your own. Email info@drhempme.com for current terms.

Can I sell CBD on Amazon or social media?

Marketplaces and social platforms have their own rules on CBD, which change often. Check their policies, and remember that the same rules on claims and THC apply wherever you sell.

Do you supply pet CBD to vets and pet shops?

Yes. Our pet oils come in three strengths by weight. Email us to discuss.

How long does a white label project take?

It depends on the products and design work involved. We will give you an estimated timeline once we understand your project.

Can you help with label compliance?

We can share what we know about the rules and how our own labels meet them, but you should take your own regulatory or legal advice for your brand.

Can I get samples before ordering?

Ask us when you enquire. We can discuss samples or a small first order so you can see the products and packaging.

Do you offer marketing materials?

Ask us about compliant product information and images for your shop or website.

Disclaimer: CBD is sold as a food supplement. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease and is not a substitute for medical advice. Always consult a healthcare professional before starting a new supplement, especially if you take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding.
